Holy Week and Easter Services

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday (The Sunday of the Passion) on April 13. We will celebrate Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The 10 a.m service will be live streamed on Facebook.

On April 17 at 6 p.m., we will have a family-friendly Maundy Thursday dinner and service. The meal will be a pitch-in, so please bring a dish to share if you’d like. We will provide chicken fingers and bread. We have a sign up sheet on the front door of the church to help us know how many to expect, but please feel welcome to come even if you don’t get a chance to sign up. The service will include Bible readings and optional foot washing. This event will take place in the church basement and everyone is invited.

A service of the Stations of the Cross will be held at 3 p.m. on Good Friday, April 18.

An evening Good Friday service will be held at 6:30 p.m. This service will be live streamed on Facebook.

The Great Vigil of Easter will take place at 6:30 p.m. on April 19. During this service, we will kindle a new fire and renew our baptismal vows. The service culminates in the first Eucharist of Easter in celebration of the risen Christ.

The good news of Easter will be celebrated with Holy Eucharist at one 10 a.m. service on April 20. Children are invited to attend a special Easter activity in the Apple house at 10 a.m. that morning. Our Easter egg hunt will take place after the service. Children are encouraged to bring Easter baskets for the egg hunt. We will have grocery bags available for egg collecting as well. The 10 a.m. Easter service will be live streamed on Facebook.
